Art distribution

Art distribution is the payment of royalties for visual art and art photography in the art market. ProLitteris carries out this distribution twice a year.

What it is about

The royalty is based on the art tariff as well as on tariffs of foreign collective management organizations. You decide yourself whether you instruct ProLitteris to manage your rights in this area.

The amount of your royalty depends on how and where your work was used. ProLitteris pays out the amounts after deductions for administration costs and for social and cultural purposes.

Which works are taken into account

The following works are taken into account:

• works that belong to visual art or art photography
• works that are used in the art market or in art education

The following are not taken into account:

• service works
• commissioned works
