Online distribution: Publishing houses declare texts (with or without images) and authors

As a publishing house or operator of a website, submit your work notifications on time. This enables ProLitteris to calculate and allocate royalties from the Online distribution correctly.

What it is about

Royalties in the Online distribution require that publishing houses participate in the distribution. To do so, they conclude a rights administration agreement with ProLitteris and meet the technical requirements, such as recording the usage.

To enable royalties to be allocated, you must record the works correctly and assign them to the rights holders.

What you report

Report published online texts from the previous year that were used on your website.

The following are not taken into account:

• Content on platforms that do not participate in the distribution, such as social media or Wikipedia
• Audio, video or podcast content

Why the deadline is crucial

Only works that are reported on time and correctly allocated are included in the distribution. Missing information may result in royalties not being paid out.
